By the time to get to Holoholo bird you should be between level 20-30. I suggest go back to the forest on previouse level where you fought Machina Heugs.
Alos, why not make a account here on Neoseeker. You just may eb one of th ones who gets this forum goes.

You were only at 16?!?!?! Thats horrible. There no way to win if your at that level. You need to be between 20-30 to beat him.

I hate training and I only saved on 1 file so when I got to the bird I was too low of a level and had to start the game all:# over because I was at level 16 and wasn't prepared at all;([div align=center][/div]

This type this easy good I win to him at level 28 with the Excombo: Guillo (Ice fan, Sigil Cry and the other of level 3 that I do not decide me as it is called. with that killed the children and later we attacked between all the bird. after it returned to give birth to his prepared another equal Excombo with Guillo

Now there's another way to do it. Train up to level 35, and make sure you can do the HeavenFall + IceBloom + Rime Blade combo. But make sure you have Sagi go last. Have both Milly and Guillo attack The mother (Must do massive damage!) making her close to fall over. Finish with Sagi's combo, which will knock her down and Freeze her, doubling the time it takes to recover. then kill the blasted chicks and move on.

I had trouble with this battle the first time through; it kicked my ass. I was an idiot and didn't save a back up when I was switching to disc two. If I knew there was a boss right away, I would have headed to Cebalrai first and stocked up on some fresh mountain apples to raise my health. I thought I was screwed but then I noticed I had 6 mattresses. So I put the chicks to sleep (because they're extremely annoying with their pecking attack and even worse, they heal the big bird) and attacked the giant one. Then you only have to deal with the mother bird's attacks and they're not that bad as long as you keep high health. As soon as the chicks would wake up, I'd knock 'em right back out. Just be careful while their sleeping not to use attacks that damage the whole party because it will wake the chicks up. This stratedgy took a while but it definitely worked and I'm glad I didn't have to go back 7 hours to my last save point!
I wouldn't reccommend trying to knock out the mother bird and attacking the chicks; it seems to miss it more often than hit and she just lays eggs right when she wakes up so it's an endless circle and you waste time attacking the chicks that need to be used on the mum.
Anyway, hope this helps someone who is searching for a solution to beat this challenging beast!
