I'm tallteen86...I've played Disgaea, Disgaea 2, Phantom Brave, Makai Kingdom, even La Pucelle...I should get Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness too....this game is a MUST BUY for me, considering I'm something of a rabid Nippon Ichi Software fanboy ^_~ I was HOPING to find that this forum was made, and lo and behold, it was ^_~
I hope they add more areas, music, and hopefully some Anime Cutscenes (Like D2's opening animation, only in important cutscenes too)...
They have 25GB (fat chance on NIS ever needing 50GB this generation) to use, I'm sure they'll have at least some extra worlds, and music to offer...
Who else here will get this game?

Welcome dood, it's never too late to get into disgaea, heck, even the undead get into it XD
If you have a PSP, get the PSP versions of the first two games, as they have extra content.
I'm here to help, I've done most everything of significance, at least, as far as the story/bonus stages go.
Level 9999 is easy in D3, if you know what you're doing, it's beating uber bosses that's trouble.

hi. I know I'm late to this party, sorry. however, this game has me by the balls now & I can see that it will take many more hours from me.
Can't say I even know why I got this game, but I'm sure glad I did! Gotta get the others too, but for now I can tell that I will be jamming on Disgaea 3 trying to get to level 9999.
Really quick I want to call out one of my favorite moments in the game, Mr. Champloo is doing the intro for the chapter [sorry not sure which exactly] and he says stay tuned for...[something I don't remember well enough to quote]...Boom! to which Mao replies, Hey! Don't 'Boom' my audience! god I love that. I think it reminds me of the Futurama episode where Bender/Coilette is dating Calculon & Elzar 'bams' her at lunch. also great.
anyhow, I'm sure I will be annoying the hell out of the regulars here, so please bear with me! thanks.

I myself own Diseaga: Absense of Justice, the story kicked butt but the optional bosses was plain BULLSPIT been a diseaga fan since the 1st Larhal took my attention right away, hard to explain, espeacially the facking PRINNIES!!! WOOT

speaking of gameovers why does the music sound so.... happy.... your team just got destroyed by some idiots that think they can save the world with magic glow stick things that makes us happy!!! i find it really annoying..... dying isnt supposed to be a happy feeling.....

I'm a long-time disgaea fan, and I just unlocked the land of carnage in disgaea 3. Very much enjoying post-game, and already faced off against Baal once, and omg, his special attack is fun to watch. Game Over never looked so sexy.
