For sure! Xbox Live coop is a must. I think 2-player is perfect though. It might get a bit crowed and confusing with 4 players onscreen at the same time.

too bad mg4/5 is for ps2 and no online play it seems.

They're coming for XBox. It appears that there will be online ranking, but no online 2 player capability, which is a real shame... hardly any of my friends like run n' gun or shmup games Xp

I was hopping they would have had this in this game but they didn't and so that doesn't really give me much replay value, and yet I still don't own the game as I can't find it any where!.

Might I suggest purchasing MS3 online? It might take a few weeks for your copy to arrive, but as it sounds like everyone in your area is greedily refusing to sell their copies to game shops, it might end up saving you time.
