You can usually find any copy of Pokemon Crystal over eBay. And if that doesn't work, try random yard/garage sales.

If you have a DS, the remakes of G/S/C will be coming out at the end of the year.

I already know of Heart Gold and Soul Silver, but I don't think that they ever make remakes of games like Crystal/Emerald/Yellow. You know, promotional follow-ups and all.

There isn't any need to. Any successful features from Crystal will be included in HG/SS alongside many new ones.

I know, the same goes for Fire Red and Leaf Green.

PM me, I can show you how to use an emulator to play it on your computer. ( I think it's against the rules to discuss it on the forums)

Yeah, you're usually not supposed to post things like that in the first place.

Yes. Play-N-Trade is the only franchise I'm aware of that still carries used games... and they completely refurbish most or all of their titles too, so they may have even replaced the ingame battery. If not you could probably request it as a service for a couple bucks if you bought the battery, they do a lot of repair work. For that matter, your price range is way, WAAAAY over the top. A completely refurbished cartridge costs $10, $15 is the absolute maximum. Crystal is an extremely common game, all the Pokemon versions usually are. Except the newer ones. But that just means they're over-commercialized and therefore overhyped.

Game Crazy, Gamestop, etcetera don't usually carry games older than Gamecube at this point. If they do you'll find them in a random assortment of a $1 bin, and those will probably be half-dead (battery) or even broken because they don't refurbish those old titles.

I can't say that I've ever heard of that store. Is it a North American chain?

Probably. I'm not familiar with many game shops that aren't.

Google is your friend. But not mine. Because I'm a lazy ass.

Rest assured, I'm not about to judge you for that.

I do miss Play-N-Trade. They're incredibly reliable, at least the location we used to have was. If not that there are always privately-owned game sellers and hobby shops, but the only one around here is owned by a prick.

I found a Game Gear along with some pretty rare titles there when they were still in business. The original Pokemon games were almost always in stock.
