Thank you. I had not thought of that and it worked.

Only a few hours ago, my AOL browser decided to get even more annoying and start opening new windows like this, as opposed to normally opening like this. You'll notice that there's somewhat of a gap below the window and although it may seem like nothing to you, it's really irritating to me

Any ideas on how to fix that? Plz don't say "Change Broadband Provider".

Who uses AOL these days. Jaykay

Try opening a window, maximizing it and then closing the window. So every window opened after that will be at it's maximum size.

It worked for Firefox. But then again, Firefox and AOL are very different. But it could work

That's what I have to do now and I'm wanting to make it stay maximized whenever I open a new window. Yeah, AOL's shit and all but I wont be changing anytime soon. FireFox would only make my connection go slower - it's an AOL thing.

AOL's built-in (some say brain-dead) browser has a maddening flaw in every version: it won't open maximized, and if you maximize the browser, it won't stay maximized when you visit sites with pop-up windows or if you flip back to AOL proper. Controlling e-mail window size and placement is equally maddening. The trick: manually stretch out the browser or e-mail window to its maximum size, then select Window > "Remember window size and position." AOL should remember this setting in this and future sessions. All stretched out? Boletrice's new AOL Tools should also solve this problem.

A bit of googleing got me this. Try it and see what's happens.

Well, it's better to a certain degree but it's not back to normal. I doubt I will get it any better than this. Thanks a lot!

I'm trying to video tape myself and stick a video on the net. My laptop has a WebCam all set up and the sort and takes pictures fantastically. However, it came with no program allowing me to actually record a video.

Anybody know of a free program that enables me to do this?

AMCap.

I have it myself, although I never use it. I've used it once or twice to test it out and it works. And for the record, if that's one of them site's where you download stuff illegally then I apologise but looks alright to me. Bah, nub.

Are there any tricks in getting your avatar changed? I've uploaded a new one about a day ago and it still hasn't shown up. Refreshing the pages isn't working.

I think it has something to do with some sort of avatar glitch that has been going around lately.

Or have you just been pressing F5, cause you have to press Ctrl + F5.

It's just a little bug that Red will have fixed soon. It's also been reported here
So if you want to read about, go ahead.

I had this problem and all I had to do was change it from a JPG format to a GIF.

Try refreshing the page that also helps!!!

Have there been any changes, as of late, to the forum ranks? I kinda feel like I've had Legendary Seeker for way too long...

If you mean your custom title like the one under my name, once you reach 50 post counts, go to your profile and it's rite under your edit signature box it says edit caption.
