Is there any way to set Mono channels on Windows Media Player or iTunes, or any music on a computer? I've searched, but had no results. I have a deaf right ear, and it's a bit annoying when I'm playing my favorite rock songs, and I can't hear the different guitars or sounds on a Stereo channel when using my headphones.
I've heard of Mono-channel headphones, but I'm really using that as a last resort. In a mod I installed for my iPod, it came with many different channel outputs, including a Mono channel, and it was really cool that I could hear all the sounds in the music on 1 ear bud. I'm guessing you can do this on a computer too. I mean, if an iPod can do it, then why can't a computer, right?
Anyways, a lot of thanks and appreciated to anyone who could help me.

You mean for members on neoseeker? Pretty sure such a thread doesn't exist.

I'm pretty sure you'll have to configure your speaker settings and not the player's to get a mono output. Purely out of curiosity, why are you deaf in that ear?

I was born that way.
The problem is that my speaker only has a volume control and my headphones don't have a stereo/mono channel changer, they're just normal headphones. I check at some stores, and some are pretty expensive.
I see that WMP has an option for balance in channels, but only lowers one of the stereo channels, but doesn't add it to the other one. The fact that I was wondering if there was a software or something for this, is because Rockbox (an alternative iPod firmware) could join the stereo channels into mono, and I used normal iPod headphones, and you could hear both channels in one bud.
