I'm pretty sure you have to choose to share the folder first. Try this on XP: right click on the folder > sharing and security > select "share this folder" > apply. Not sure if that'll work or not, I'm just guessing. =O

For Vista, right click the folder and select "Share". The give it the class you'd like to share it with and you're good. Something I had trouble with is Vista automatically sets your folders to password protected without actually creating a password. Go to your networking options and be sure to turn off "Password Protected Sharing".

Scotch Tape is a definite yes, but the rest are iffy. It seems like a craft store would have all you're looking for.

i think they have the nylon in the fabric section
and ask for the wax..scotch tape for certain
