Subject: Only one game that isn't working

So I have a dreamcast that doesn't work with one game. It plays other games just fine but when the one, Marvel vs. Capcom, it goes to the sega screen or w/e like it's going to play and then it reverts back to the main menu. I think other people have had this problem but its only with one game, not others. Help please.
Edit: Just to let you know it's not the disc that is faulty either because it has no scratches and is in perfect condition. It's not the laser either because it works with other games.

Is this a game that you've downloaded & burnt yourself, or an actual release? If it the former, then I'd suggest re-burning it, & if that doesn't work then the download is screwed & you'll have to download another.
