I'm stuck at the last level against Sturm.
I've got Andy,Max and Sami:) as my 3 teams.
I keep getting took out.

Play the campaign again to get better characters in the last level. For example, use Max in the fifth level to get Grit and Sami in the last four Green Earth missions to get Eagle (a must have). Then you'll be able to finish the level for sure.

easy make grits missiles and rockets help andy send in samis infantry and mech use infantry to capture bases and mech to blow up tanks recons and anti-airs

You should chose a more well balanced team.Suppose these teams bellow(if you have them that is):
Drake,Eagle,Andy
Grit,Max,Andy
Sami,Max,Andy

I used (order from left to right)
well everyone but the best for me was
grit
andy
kanbei
max
andy
eagle
those were the best for me I used every CO other than Olaf.

I did okay when I had Olaf, I just made sure I never used his COP because that would've killed me.
Andy is only there so Sturm has something to attack, if Andy loses you might as well give up, saying that though if you play it well enough Andy can almost beat Sturm on his own, I should know, I almost did.

No DBZ everyone had and still has trouble on this mission, Sturm is hard.
Just push Andy's forces against Sturm's as a shield.
Max should come to Andy's rescue with tanks and A-Airs sent directly to Sturm, Grit should come to Andy's rescue with Rockets and Missiles sent directly to Sturm or Olaf should come to Andy's rescue using tanks A-Airs and whatever else you think he could use sent directly to Sturm.
Sami should come to Andy's aid as a boost to the shield wall while spamming Infantry to slow down Sturm, Drake should come to Andy's aid as a boost to the shield wall while building tanks A-Airs a few Air units even Drake's weakness dosn't stop Bombers pwning and spamming his COP, Eagle should come to Andy's aid as a boost to the shield wall while spamming strong units and his COP or Kanbei should come to Andy's aid as a boost to the shield wall while spamming strong units.

Sturm is harder in AW1 more than AW2.
I had serious diffaculty on this mission at first, it took me like 5 tries to get the hang of it. this is probably the hardest mission in the series of Advance Wars.
The best CO on the left is simpley Grit, taking out Sturm's Fighters and Bombers quickly before they bring terror, Going behind the Mountains and river taking out Sturm's Troops at the Base and protecting Andy.
In the middle, Andy duh. Probably the one you'd choose anyway.
CO for the right, There are 3 I say.
Eagle, advancing Fighters and Bombers and carefully charging to Sturm's base with them and protect Andy with them,
Kanbei, Making lots of Infantry at his base or somewhere to aggro Sturm's Meteor Strike and Protect Andy with his Md Tanks and B Copters and simpley own sturm through his base properly with indirects,
or Sami, Protecting Andy with Zango mode (Infantry and Mech Flood) and just flooding Sturm's base and aggroing his meteor strike, at the right time capture his HQ.
The 3 COs I talked about and what to do is great for any combo as long as Grit's on the left. Any of them Work.

First you have to win the "Kanbei Arrives" mission in less than 9 turns; the "Mighty Kanbei" mission in less than 11 turns; and the "Kanbei's Error" mission in less than 13 turns to unlock the bonus Sonja missions. Then beat the bonus Sonja missions in the campaign mode. Now Sonja can be purchased for 60 coins at the Battle Maps screen when the campaign has finished.

Sturm is much easier on Advanced Wars 2. I get blitzed every time in the AW1 but won in AW2 on my second effort. I always lose Andy near the start and then it's up to Max and Drake
