Subject: Who gets the uber-wanzer?

The existence of the Hoshun Mk112 uber-wanzer and it's laser cannon of doom is well-recorded- however, I was wondering about something. I tend to give the Hoshun (+ Hvy P-Gun) to Kazuki- who is, apparently a melee specialist.
Given that certain characters will always seem to do better with certain types of weapons, should I give the Hvy P-Gun to a rifle (the weapon that it superficially resembles) specialist?

give it to ryogo he rocks! hahahaa anyway i dinished the game w/o using that laser xD i mean i really CONSUMES ACTION POINTS!! and if your out of luck it will even miss its targer so id rather use shotgun or M.gun lvl S and wanzers can activate combo's ROF UP I x 6 is the best! hahaha

My technique is to split the parts up among several people with g10 computers, try to get the missle wanzer pilots to learn AP=0, get the sniper and/or missile pilots to learn Body Smash, rotating the relevant part around as soon as the skill is learned.
In four entire playthroughs of both storylines, I have NEVER earned Revenge-Body (or any other "Revenge" skills either).
Very early in the game, I have Kazuki and the party sniper (Dennis or Liu) exchange tactical roles, so that Kazuki can build up a sniper's battle skill set, and arm him with the Plasma Gun when I get it. He's the Hero, he *should* have the BFG! Even "Zoom I" vastly improves usage of the Plasma Gun -- and for 15 AP you *want* to make every shot count!

I process to pull it apart and split the remains between my other custom wanzers
