hi. i traded the pikachu that you get in pk yellow to my silver game and when i did it had a item attatched to it. the item was a
"light ball". it wasn't a pokeball or else it would have gone to my ball pocket. the description is "an odd, electrical orb." will it work as the gs ball?
anyways does anybody know what it is?

If you breed a Pikachu while It's holding a Light Ball, it will produce a Pichu that knows the move "Volt Tackle"

Volt Tackle wasnt in silver iirc. I could be wrong though.

It is an item held on wild Pikachu, it boosts special attack and speed of pikachu only. Also, if you breed with a female pokemon from the fairy group. e.g. Cherrim. you get a pichu w/ Volt Tackle. A electric-type flare blitz or double-edge. W/ 120 power and 100 execpt it does 1/3 of the damage to itself.
