Do you think God Of War 3 will come out on ps2 or xbox 360 because i want it but do not have a ps3 and do not want one.

Well if you want it you're gonna have to get one. This game is made by Sony's Santa Monica studios. In other words, this is a Sony-owned game. It can't be on any other system because Sony isn't about to help its competitors.
As for it being on PS2, its highly unlikely. Its already been announced for the PS3 and it seems more and more franchises are jumping onto next-gen platforms. Look at MGS and DMC and FF. They aren't on the PS2.
So sorry dude, but you're gonna need a PS3 to play this game. No if, ands, or buts about it - there's a 0% chance its going to the 360, and an inprobable possibility it'll be on the PS2.

I guess with that said your not getting it, and going to be missing out. By the time God of War 3 comes out it will be late 09, so by then the price will be cheaper, maybe. So with that said, you have no choice. The game will be on Blu-ray Disc and will probably use up to 25 or 30GB of data and only the PS3 will be able to read it unfortunately. So your screwed really.

It seems as though it's likely to come out in middle-to-late 2009, either in Summer or early Autumn. Don't be surprised if it's pushed back however, as all we've seen is a teaser trailer so far - they have a lot of work left to do.

Assuming the trend of the new PS3 games and 360 the game will most likely end up costing $59.99(sorry im using USD for this). As for when its going to release Im not positive. If lets say they released it on March 17, 2009, like they have with most God of War games, you could get the game, if it isn't worldwide release maybe in may.

it won tbe on ps2 for definate i remember reading somewhere that the kratos model uses so many polygns that in combination with the scenery the ps2 would not be able to run it sorry couldn't find the link to the site where i red this

Yeah, that's correct. There's no way any last-generation console could run God Of War 3.
The only way to experience the end of Krato's tale is to fork out the cash for a PS3.

Yea but metal gear solid and final fantasy were sony exclusives and they signed over with microsoft.what makes god of war 3 not be able to do that
