what is the best way to get a blue mushroom(the one that makes you small) in my inventory (the circle at on the bottom right)so i can use it after i beat the last boss in world five, so i can get to world seven.

It's not actually possible to use an item after a castle boss, is it? I'm sure Mario automatically runs off to the next world as soon as the boss dies.
In case I'm wrong:
One way is to use the standard toad mushroom houses and hope for a blue mushroom (there's a trick to getting these to appear in worlds - check the cheats section, it has something to do with ending a level with a certain time). Alternatively go to world 1 and trek to a level where the red floating box is. Keep entering levels with the red box and hitting it until you get a blue mushroom and finish the level tiny. Repeat this process to get a blue mushroom in the storage area.
If you're having trouble I believe the warp cannon in world 4 leads to world 7 as well.

yes i think you can cause you have to grab the key from the boss
Just tested this. The item storage release does not work when the boss is defeated. You're right that you have to grab the key but you can't use your item at that time.
but it don't matter cause i just went back in a beat him using mini Mario and got to level seven.

or just get one from a bonus mushroom room
takes luck so u might have to turn it off to get the mini.
:D
