I have gone thru worlds 1, 2, 3, 5 ,6, and part of 8. how do I get to worlds 4 and 7?

World 4 - Defeat the boss on the final castle of World 2 as tiny Mario.
World 7 - Defeat the boss on the final castle of World 5 as tiny Mario. Alternatively reach the second exit of the ghost house in world 4 and use the warp cannon to blast to world 7.

You have to ground pound him several times, because tiny Mario can't hurt enemies with standard jumps.

What if you have a tiny mushroom in your slot, and after you beat him, before you grab the key, you eat the mushroom?
Would that count?

Not possible. The item slot doesn't work during the time between defeating the boss and grabbing the key. You have to deal the death blow as tiny Mario.

Does anyone know how to acquire a mini mario in Worlds 2 & 5 to beat the End Boss for Worlds 4 & 7? THANKS!!!!

Since you can take power up forms and items from one world to another:

Alternatively go to world 1 and trek to a level where the red floating box is. Keep entering levels with the red box and hitting it until you get a blue mushroom and finish the level tiny. Repeat this process to get a blue mushroom in the storage area.
If you're having trouble I believe the warp cannon in world 4 leads to world 7 as well.

Another way to get a mini mushroom nice and easy is to first finish the game, then you'll have infinite mushroom houses, then just keep trying for one.
