many boost pads than ur set and if you get a lot of boost pick ups or that level has many drops which allow you to do flip boosts

Yup, you're right. When I was trying to get gold in time trial on one OMEGA track (vector difficulty), I was always 1.5 worse than the gold medal time while using the Zone. With my medievil I got time 2.5 sec better than my Zone time.
But I still think that Medievil is overall worse than the Zone, because it's got only 4/5 in handling (Zone has 5/5), and with its "strange" looks it's really hard to steer on high speed settings (and it's even harder to see what's going on the track). But, of course, on some tracks it's better than Zone
By the way, has anyone got the maximum number of Gold Medals (there are 329 medals in the european version - US and JP versions have less
). I already have almost 200, and i'm getting bored. But i think i'll actually do it on my holidays ('cause there's nothing better to do there than to play PSP/GBA/NDS etc.).

Ok I just got my PSP a couple days ago and I still haven't unlocked the zone ship, my God it doesn't look like it will be too easy!
I've been plenty busy racing in all the new circuits (I downloaded everything possible, with the exception of the "U.S. secret paks," I heard they were rubbish).
Can someone please post the full stats for the Zone ship for me? Please include:
Handling
Thrust
Top Speed
Shield

Thanks emuman. By the way, I actually already found that exact FAQ/guide thingy (and printed all 74 pages), on the website called "wipeoutzone.com", which I [i]highly[i] reccomend to anyone who really wants some discussion about WipEout.

Plus, I'd like to add that in that guide, the author strongly suggests against using the zone ship (OR the Medievil one for that matter) because they are too easy to use for their speed, and therefore your skill won't improve much. I actually agree. It's better to avoid those two, as well as the Puma 1 ship for the most part, in my opinion of course.
