This is frikin awesome, if none of u have tried this i suggest you try it. it is not a glich!!! Use any herring with any tree on RuneScape. You will get the message "This is not the mightiest tree in the forest." This is a reference to 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail', where the Knights' Who No Longer Say Ni demand "Find the mightiest tree in the forest and cut it down withA Herring!" Its a cooked herring btw

There is one tree in Runescape which IS the mightiest tree and you win 100k for using a cooked herring on it.

Knew about it, Jagex makes so many outside references.

You can use either a cooked or a raw Herring, and yes, there is one tree in RuneScape which is the mightiest tree, but you have to figure out which it is, although, I don't think you get 100k from it.

That tree in Lumbridge? The one where you can only see the stump?

The mightiest tree is actually the grand tree (i.e. the one the gnomes live in). If you use a herring with the grand tree you get the message "It can't be done!" which is another Holy Grail reference.

If you didn't know the new quest the hunt for red ruktuber is a reference to the book the hunt for red october, in which a submarine is spotted in enemy territory

Do you want to know HOW many references Jagex makes?

I know of these off the top of my head. Just to name a few.
