If you get the opportunity to sign Karl Bermingham then I would heavily recommend him. I signed him with Stalybridge in the Conference and five years later he is currently captaining my UEFA Cup squad.
Other good signings would be Carl Finnigan, Giuseppe Cozzolino, Jamie Hand, Magnus Okhounghae, Nathan Koo-Boothe and Anthony Nicholas.
