Am I just having a really good dream, or is there really gonna be a Mass Effect demo in about three days?

Hmm...maybe. Jade Empire had a demo. I hope to high hell that they do I've never really had a reason to say that until now

I've been playing through the Stranglehold demo now, max payne could only dream of action like this.

I can't get enough, it's great, the demo is a generous size with some unlockable difficulties and moves to keep you coming back.

Anyone who's a fan of: Woo, chow yun fat, max payne and action is general has to play this.

I'm downloading the Stranglehold demo as I'm typing this. Big file size, it better be worth it.

*bleep*ing woot. The Stranglehold demo is awesome. Took me a fair amount of playing through just to get bored of that one level. Each time I played, I played through enough to unlock all the Tequila Bombs (stupid name) and then played through the level a few times with all the TBs. There's really a helluva lot to it. It's one of those games where you can play through just shooting guys and have a fair bit of fun. But the better you get at it, the more environment-kills you see (dropping signs on people is still fun to me) and the more crazy-stylish stuff you can do. I'm already doin' things that I wouldn't have thought possible on my first play-through.

There's that one part in particular where you slide down the long rail. The first time I did it, I kinda shot a few guys then dove off halfway down all stupidly. Now I slide down, shoot out all the signs for a one-shot kill on each guy, then jump from the end of the rail to the cart and slide to the other end of the area, killing everyone along the way in slow-motion, then dive from the cart as it slows to a stop, and land on the rail at the other end. Running up that, shooting down the signs on that side for more one-hit kills... The whole area becomes a single slow-motion run of badassery.... I love it.

Also, has anyone found these alleged "gold SMGs" yet? I've found two sets of gold pistols, but I heard there were some automatics in there somewhere that I'm just missing.

Stranglehold demo is awesome. Definitely a game I'll be picking up.

How would online work though, with people slowing down as they please. And other people going at normal rate. That is of course, if the game features online play.

Clear the demo and watch the movie at the end, it's a nice montage showing how badass the games is-including the multiplayer.

I dunno how they make it work but it looks amazing.

Has anyone played Eternal Sonata-if that's the name, I forget. I think it's only available to download in america.

I saw some previews of it and it looked very stylish, not the sort of game I thought I'd see on 360 (most of them seem pegged on realism)

I think everything slows down, not just the certain person. Notice how one of the players everything was slow but his meter wasn't going down?
