Basically says it in the title. Although it's been confirmed it's not turn based and is action what would you have liked to have seen, and why? I'd like to have seen turn based because it just has a better feeling to these kind of lengthy RPG's with a great long story, and seems to suit the aspect of leveling up more.

In Someways I Like It Turn Base Because Its More Organised But Then Again Action Based Games Have Ya Using You Weapon In Different Ways.

I say , that depends sometimes I like turn-based more and other times action , I used to like turn-based only but after playing KH games and some others I started to like action too, so to me that is not a problem.
I really like how the battle system looks in this game, I would like to see a similar system to give orders to the rest of the party as the one seen on FFXII ( I love the FFXII gambit system ).

Don't get me wrong, I like the action style as well. I think both action and turn based styles both have their qualities.

oh man, well, i really loved DQ and i am a fan of turn based things because i can think the whole battle thru if i need to, hoewever, other action games like the new Legend of Zelda TP with the Wiimote is so awesome, and it really helps, but mostly, id have to say i enjoy turnbased RPG's

I've never been a fan of action-RPGs. But both Dark Cloud 2 and Kingdom Hearts kind of changed that. Now it's even better, this game combines the two!
But if you want me to pick one, I vote for Turn-Based, since I'm old-school.

I usually prefer action style. Turn-based is fun, but I like action a lot more. The only series I like turned-based in are Xenosaga, Final Fantasy, and Pokemon. Action is just more fun in my opinion.

After seeing some footage of the gameplay for Rogues Galaxy I'm now glad that the fighting style is good ol' hack n' slash action, because level five have done such a great job on it. I agree ^^ that I find action more fun, because your controlling the action. I still will always love turn based though. =D

i prefer turn based by a lot but once in a while an action based rpg is good if they implement it well in other cases (like FF12) the action system is just bad and that hurts the game a lot

It really depends on what mood Iam in and what game it is. I love Rogue Galaxy, Dark Cloud, Tales of Symphonia and other action rpgs, but I also love Final Fantasy, Breath of Fire, Atelier Iris, Ar Tonelico, Golden Sun adn other turn based games.

turn based games like suikodenIII and legendia2 are okay, but action like rouge galaxy, kingdom heartsII, and others are better cuz u get tu move freely in battles.

Today there's a bit too much action style out there and a lot of them is just button smashing. I used to prefer action, but right now I really miss a good turn base RPG.

i reckon action is good for some games if they just get it right. but turn based is better for most, especially low graphics and simpler games like pokemon and golden sun, they wouldnt be as good if they were action =]
