Subject: What exactly is Captain Aizen's true nature?..

during his insurgency in the Soul Society. I'm slightly confused after getting caught up on Bleach the past 2 days...watched about 20 episodes on YouTube; lol.
Anyways during Aizen's insurgency and more specifically as he was leaving, what exactly was his true nature? Was he merely an extremely powerful Soul Reaper? Or was he already partially a Hallow?
From what I can tell his speech doesn't specifically state what his true nature is at the time; his amazing powers would lead me to believe that he had past the "boundaries" that hold back a Soul Reaper.
It would be great if someone could help and please, I am on episode 71 so I would appreciate if someone would explain this with
NO SPOILERS PLEASE!

It is alittle confusing, (im on ep 73 english only for me) and im pretty sure that Aizen is just a Soul Reaper with an overpowered Zanpacu-to and immense spiritual pressure. To pass the boundries he would have to be a Vizard, which is just a Soul Reaper who can summon the powers of a Hollow through a Hollow Mask. (e.i. Ichigo)
You've played Bleach: Shattered Blade correct?

To be specific, he has reached the absolute maximum level possible for a Soul Reaper; he literally can't get any stronger without becoming a Vizard.

About Captian Aizen but was it he who made the hollow that killed Kaien?

Yeppers.
Well, it wasn't technically the Hollow that killed him, but, yeah; the Hollow in question was the result of one of Aizen's experimental methods for creating a being with the powers of both a Hollow and a Soul Reaper.
