I just so happen to be bored, so it is time for the grammar nazi to strike. I shall go easy on you this time, and only deal with some of the errors on this page. I could easily tackle the errors in this entire thread or in this entire forum, but I do not see the need to, nor do I have the patience.

Where do I start with this post?

1. Two spaces are to be placed after periods, exclamation points, and question marks when they mark the end of a sentence.
   
2. The word "alot" in your post should be "a lot." "Alot" is not a word, unless you are referring to allot, which would be an error in your word choice.
   
3. Never start a sentence with the words "and" or "but."
   
4. What is an avi? The last time I checked, that was a computer file extension that is used to determine whether or not a program is capable of opening the file. If you are referring to an avatar, then say so.

Yes, I just happen to be correcting myself. I am not a hypocrite, you know. Contractions are something you want to avoid when writing a formal paper, and is a habit worth eliminating even in informal environments, as it will help remove the unconscious drive to use contractions in formal writing.

Is that all one sentence? If so, then you, my friend, must have taken a liking to ellipses. The word "I" is always capitalized, even when used in a contraction such as "I'm."

Always capitalize the first letter of the first word in a sentence.

See the previously mentioned errors and that will eliminate most of the problems with this post. Spell check is your friend; that silly "hve" could have easily been caught and you could have changed it to "have" before submittin the post and making yourself look like a complete fool. Percent symbols should be written out to read "ten percent" instead of "10%."

Yes, I am well aware that I used passive voice in some portions of this post, but I am too tired to bother trying to think of ways to make the passive areas active.

Totally, the lamest and most random burn ever to be witnessed on this forum, probably even the internet or interweb as some call it. We got nothing to talk about do we...Sadness, aren't it.


Note: Yeah I typed "Sadness, aren't it" for a few reasons.
#1: I hate T-rex's.
#2: I hate Grammar nazi's because they don't type in active form.
#3: Because the Wright Brothers stole the flying machine from some poor guy in a box, yeah i'm talking about Solid Snake.
#4: I hate broccoli.

I was offering an explanation of the first clause, "I'm getting bored with Neoseeker", or whatever I said. Using a colon, I can introduce a new clause--a sentence in itself--and offer a point or explanation to anything in the first clause. I'm in the green for my grammar.

Secondly, if I wanted to write it as a semicolon, I would do this. (Let me look at the thread review, so I can get the sentence...)
