I noticed that when you pause the game in mission mode you can highlight "SAVE LOCATION" how does this work?

It's where you save your files to - HardDrive or a Memory unit.

It doesn't save your game, it saves to your last checkpoint in the mission... I THINK.

Yes, when you save your current game. the next time you load the campaign, you will start off at the last checkpoint you reached.

Is your game saved to your harddrive when you reach a certain point in the level and saves by itself? Because if it doesn't then I'm screwed.
