Ryt, im at the part where you are searching for tears, (in frostfire Glade) and ive found 4 tears, ive searched the area OVER AND OVER but i cant find any more, and the quest log still says ' I have found one of Garridans tears, i should continue searching, as there may be more.' << but i cant find anymore :S
Any help?
how many are you spose to collect?

You need about 6 tears I believe. This quest took me about three hours total to complete, over the time of about 10 trips to the damn place after giving up so many times. This is probrably the dumbest quest in the entire game. Just keep looking, and you'll find them eventually.

There are some walkthroughs online that have screenshots of the map with indicators as to where each Tear is located.
Unforunately, if you were like me and used a bunch of area of effect Fire spells in that area, they might have been blasted all over the place. God, the hour I wasted searching for those damn things still pisses me off.

Here. This has a map of the Glade. Hopefully it will help you. Just note that 4 are scattered around the central rock, and the 5th is actually up on the rock.

i had trouble with this quest too, but luckily i chose a telekinesis mage's staff when i joined the guild, so when i had that equipped the "pick up garridans tear" sign would come up when i was looking at it, not just when i was close.

I must have been lucky the first time I did this mission because I had no problems. But I definitely remember having the same problems as you guys the second time around! It's even more annoying doing the search while you're constantly being attacked with ice spells. I can describe this mission with lots of different words, but you don't want to hear them because none of them are good!

Actually, that's the reward you get when you do the quest between Level 10 and Level 14. If you wait until at least Level 25, you'll get 2500 gold. Now, that's okay and all, but the real money is going to come from the Philter of Frostward potions S'Drassa gives you. They're worth a whopping 4080 gold total. Now, you won't get near full price for them unless you're using a spell that has Fortify Mercantile on yourself and a Drain Mercantile and Charm on the shopkeeper, but that's still a pretty good-sized chunk of change.
