When I first started playing Halo online I was a better-than-average sniper, using the human sniper which I was good with but not as much with the covenant, because it kept over heating. Now after about 7 months I am extremly brilliant with both. But I want to ask you which sniper do you use and prefer.

I think most people will say Human Sniper, for sure. More shots = quicker fire off of shots + more ammo capacity. Beam Rifle doesn't have shit on the Sniper.

If it is a Team Snipers match, then I prefer beam rifle cause it has quicker shots and if it overheats, I have the Human Sniper to back it up.

They both have advantages and disadvantages. Human snipers are better for actually sniping, but are terrible close range, (at least for me) In sniper playlists I always try to get both, because the covie one is easier close range, but not as good long range, (for me).
All in all, the human snipers benefits overshadow the covies benefits in my opinion, fell free to disagree with me though.

I'm not much of a sniper but when I do,I always use the human sniper rifle. (judging by the fact that I have 500 odd kills with the human sniper and about 3 with the beam rifle)

I never use the covenant sniper because I swear to God, even in Halo 2, you get a headshot and it misses completely.

The sniper rifle has a better rate of accuracy but the covenant beam rifle is easier to get a hit with.

I would actually prefer the Human Sniper Rifle. You can pick up more ammo without having to find a whole new gun. And I enjoy the ricochet effect of it.
