I personally have to lean towards GoW. GoW has a strong single player experience, but the lack of multiplayer really subtracts from the game IMO.

Yes but I believe that GoW has more replay value than GoW in the single player department. I just don't feel like playing GoW over again for the 5th time like I do with GoW.

you really can't debate that. Both games are awesome in their own ways. Gears is a freakin awesome shooter, while god of war is a freakin awesome action game. You really can't compare those...

Never really played GoW but I've heard it is a great game. GoW is also a great game with endless replay value. I'd have to say GoW is my fav.
