On Topic: How do you all feel about Final Fantasy going to Xbox 360? To me, it feels kind of awkward since I'm used to playing it on Playstation, but i've heard the graphic quality for Xbox 360 would be really high, so I'm really looking forward to seeing this game come out in the near future.

I'm really looking forward to it. I've wanted to play FF XI for a while, but I just couldn't afford the whole online thing. I think on this version you can play it offline right?

I know hardly anything about the game except for alot of massive changes to the series.
Is it true that they disposed of Random Battles?

No.
I had it on PC for like 2 weeks and it was definately random battles, like you run out of health and stuff to heal and your saying "please don't get into a fight" lol.

Ok firstly you do have to pay an extra subscription charge to play this game as it is an MMORPG.
Secondly, you don't exactly get random battles. If you move near an opponent and/or hit them then you will fight them. So its not exactly like the other FF games whereby you just get totally random fights.

awww..damnit..there is a an extra charge ..do u know how much itll be? ..and is it monthly?...im a big fan of FFVII and FFX and X2..didnt really care for any of the other ones..i havent played this one tho and i was thinkin of picking it up when it comes out for 360..how is it?..whats it like..in comparison to the 3 i mentioned??

It is 11. The character that appears in this will be whoever you want him/her to be, since this is an MMORPG.

is their a relese dadt yet (uk) or at least any rumor.
i have the game for pc and i know its excatly the same but a few graphic changes so any questions just look on the pc thread! this way i can play along side my bro him on pc me on '360.

Uk release date is in the information thread, but i might as well repeat myself here.....
4th of January, OXM magazine relaese the beta version of the game for FREE in there 4th issue on this day, that means we get it be4 america (yay!) and we dont have to pay.

I dunno, i know for a fact that you will be able to play against other people from the other versions, whether or not you can switch characters i dont know.
However it would make sense as all versions must be the same or else there would be unfair advantages to one froup, so i dont see why not.

You can use your PC, or PS2 account on the Xbox 360 version, Its all the same game, just being accessed on a different platform.
