I dont know if anybody has read the latest gameinformer or not, but in it they showcase the newest installment in the battlefield series.
Battlefield: Bad Company. It looks phenomenal so far, the screens in the gameinformer are breathtaking, and one thing that really has me excited is the fully destructable environments. The screens in the mag show a whole being blown out of a wall using a grenade launcher, thus allowing you to create a snipers nest or just a big gaping whole in the wall.It also supports up to 24 players online just as in BF2MC. Each character from the main story is given differentiated characteristics in game as well such as the way they reload their gun to how fast they move and how they hold their gun. This game stull uses ragdoll physics upon death, resulting in some entertaining deaths. I posted this in the battlefield 2 MC forum because this game still doesnt have one yet, so I thought Id give you guys a heads up and see what your opinions are. this game is also coming out for PS3

Im glad there revamping the single player, and the destructible environments will bring a new element to online play, hopefully they will do a really good job..

yeah everything they've mentioned about it sounds like its going to be both and online and a single player killer

I'm looking forward to the destructable environments. That would add a new aspect to the game play by far. From the way the screen shots look this could be a must own. Any idea of when its comming out?

No release date has been confirmed yet. It'll more than likely be a summer/fall of '08 release, if I was to guess.
