Alright in the Old Sorcerer's Mansion when you have to put the plate's down in the garden, I accidently put the wrong plate down in the top and it won't let me take it out...
Like the "remove" action doesn't show up.. How can I fix this?

that's easy. you are probably not standing in the right position to pick up the piece. try standing further away from it before pressing A.

but when i do stand there, the "remove" action is replaced with the "open" action, because its right in front of the gate you have to open, when you get the pieces in the right spot

As I said in your other thread - it's a common misconception where people believe they have collected all the plates themselves - when in actual fact one is there by default and you can not remove it. It's already in the correct postion. It's the others that are wrong.
