Hey this is the official(sort of) introduction thread for Lost Odyssey, Mist Walker's 2nd game and what appears to be an action game.

O well, come in and say hi

Hey I'm Xeros, looks like this game might not come out for a while, but it looks awesome

Well hello, I'm tallteen86 (bad name), and I plan to get this game...eventually -_- its not out for about 3.4 months as it is -_-

In any case, I thought it was supposed to be sort of tactical? When your important allies die off, you absorb their powers? It might be something like dynasty warriors, but I thought it was more tactical oriented...well, in either case, it looks good ^_^

I'd rather be playing Lost Odyssey than GTA this summer, so maybe see you in the forum.

I got this game last week and I must say, this is one of the greatest games of all time!!

The story, the graphics, the music are all top-notch, and if you ever wondered how those old-school JRPG (think Final Fantasy VI) would turn out in nex-gen console, you have the answer!!

Matt Addison here, or Astian - whichever you choose to address me. I have recently purchased this game and believe it's amazing. =]

I'm in love with it already! Too bad I have to fit it in around my busy schedule. I should get some more play time in this afternoon.

I just got this game, how could I not! Four disk, for $80, that's $20 a disc. Most people spend twice as much as $80 dollars over the weekend on booze, so why not on something that will sure to last months. Have not started playing it yet but hopefully today.

Where did you get it for $80, I've only seen it for $60. Unless you're in a different country...

I've been havin' fun with it so far. The load times for some of the things are a tad annoying, you can see a lot of "ideas" from FFVII to FFIX in the story (hero with no memory, ring trigger, learning skills.) Other than a few small things the game is pretty solid.

The boss fights can give you a good challenge even if you are the right level, and the best is you can skip the cut scenes (fantastic when you die and have to replay the last few mins.)

Might as well throw myself into the gauntlet.

Hi, Lupin3rd, former frequenter of rpg game threads until I was disheartened by lack of response (due to me not being in the inner circle I'd guess, or my oversensitivity). In on the ground floor on Lost Odyssey though.

I was all excited by the release being so soon after Blue Dragon (which I gave up on after ice/fire wolf ghosts got the better of me) and was eagerly anticipating the 29th of February for the UK PAL release. Then I caught rumours of the general asia release being Pal compatible and having english voices and subtitles and my local independant game store had some copies in and so I grabbed it about 3 weeks before retail.

I'd say I'm loving every second but I've been playing it in tandem with Shadow Hearts From The New World leading to Ring trigger/judgement confusion occasionally.

And word to AngelDeVoid the skippable cutscenes are incredibly helpful considering that every boss bests me.

Hi... I've been anticipated this game for a little while now. It's just another game that's luring me to get a 360.

Now I just need to find a 500$ bill on the ground and I'm set.
