the HMG-90 machine gun, limpet charges and the HE99-X Firefly are the best weapon combo in the game

Well for Close-Quarters, any SMG, Shotguns, and A Grenade . For Long Range and Stealth both, Sniper Rifles and Limpet Charge. For Assault Harlington HMG-90 and MG-60/Firefly, Hothead and/or Grenadier with Shrapnel Greandes. For an Overkill Combo, then the Harlington HMG-90 and 99X Firefly with Cluster Grenades. For Total Annihilation, well of course the 99-X Firefly, Hothead and/or Grenadier with Cluster Grenades.
