That sounds great, a good character customisation system is always a plus and having a more open style of gameplay should make the experience even more enjoyable and add to the replayability.

quote Curt Conners
Oh man, I'm going to have to play an adept character.
This isn't just going to raise the bar, it's going to pick it up and beat all the other RPG's to death with it.

Particularly pleased by

quote
Things begin with a deep character creation system, where you design Shepard's look, assign one of six character classes, and even pick specific facial expressions. You also get to decide on one of several backgrounds for the Commander, each of which alters certain plot elements and affects reactions from NPCs.

........
It's hard to say for certain how truly open the galaxy will be, but BioWare asserts that players have far more freedom than in KOTOR or Jade Empire. You could play quickly through Mass Effect without doing much exploration and complete it in 30-40 hours. But if you look at every nook and cranny of the galaxy, the experience should last considerably longer.

How much replayability/value for money exactly? Result!

uhhh $500 of gameplay for $60?

Which according to my maths, if you count $1=1 hour that's a 1000% percent return on your investment.
Though my maths always did suck

500/60= 800% return I think I'm not good at percentages, but game design will be my career choice(after graduating from Devry and getting some basic stuff from a real college), so I may wanna get better at math.

yeah, that's what we're hearing at the moment. As far as I know, there's been no official announcement so, while I hope to see it in stores in May, I won't hold my breath til I hear something official.

"Jedi on Crack"... lol

does sound like a cool class, I think I'll mesh somewhere between soldier and adept...

The other three classes are indeed hybrids. I don't know the names but one is a soldier/adept cross, one is a tech/adept cross and the last is a tech/soldier cross. I'm adept all the way though! It's probably harder at first but those biotic powers look cool.

I think the solider adept cross would suit me nicely, the adept powers look cool but don't think I'd want to be full adept.

Full Adept definitely, if they didn't have the pause function to let you be strategic I'd agree with you. As it is though, I want to be able to drop big fecking crates on people..eventually.

Hmmm I'm slightly worried about this though because if it's going to be that big will it have an extra payment option, like FFXI did ?
