What I know about Brothers In Arms is this:
The game is a remake of Operation Market Garden from 101 Airborne Division,506 Paratrooper Infantry Regiment.
This regiment was led into battle some time after Pearl Harbor was bombed.
Also,for those that have seen "Band Of Brothers," then you would know that Major Richard Winters was in charge of the regiment since D-Day.

I'm sorry to say you are mistaken.
The 506th was first in battle on D-DAY landing sometime after midnight and Major Winter was in charge of the 3rd Batallion of the 506th from the end of Market Garden onwards.
Also the game is based on soldiers from the 502nd Parachute Infantry Regiment not the 506th.
