I have HL game of the year edition and when I put in "give" codes, they never show up! When I put give monster_"name" it says NULL ent in givename! What does that mean? Plz, someone help me!

calm down dude dont use ALL CAPZ! its a little desperate even for lack of attention. basically you go into the console type: Sv-cheats 1 then you wait and type in whatever you want if it dosent work go into the advanced box on the options menu then reconfigure what you need and maybe it will work with spawning enimies.
