How do you think the game is so far? I myself have only played the demo, but I can say that it's shaping up great. The gameplay doesn't change much from VT2, which is a good thing. VT2's gameplay was almost perfect. The graphics are amazing. All the players look like their real-life counterparts, and the detail on the courts is magnificent. The only issue I had with the demo was the large number of time male players would dive, it got frustrating, and didn't feel realistic at all. Thankfully I've heard that this is no longer the case in the full version. Pretty much everything I expected from the game is there, so my first impression is that it looks to be one of my favourite games this year. ^-^

It just got released here today, so I should be picking it up today.

It is a poor excuse for a tennis game imo. Stick with top spin 2!

I havn't played Top Spin 2, but I was a big fan of Top Spin 1. From pretty much every person I know who's played TS2, they say it's a disgrace compared to the original. Considering that Top Spin barely out-did VT2, I wouldn't say TS2 is better. VT3 is in my top two sports games of all time, that's something SEGA should be proud of.

I got the game today, and my god it owns. I was right about the diving, it's completly fixed in the full game. It plays so much better than VT2, and the graphics even seem to be better than the demo. The World Tour mode is great fun, and the online play is amazing. The lag can get annoying if you play with international hosts, but when you play with people from your area it's definatly up there with the best Xbox Live titles.

Amazing game.

The demo is quite misleading, so don't make any decisions from what you experience in the demo. About the only thing the demo promises is those amazing graphics, the rest is reworked.

Good to see someone else enjoying the game.

It's popular everywhere else but here for some reason.

I love this game and I am not a big fan of tennis. You can customize your own tennis star for career mode (World Tour). Graphics are eye candy. I would give it 5 stars if the game allows you to change your character to customize the look (hair style, facial hair, etc.) throughout the career mode (not just at the beginning). Also, there is no cash reward in career mode, only in Tournament mode. You can use sixaxis controller to move and hit the ball (similar to Wii) but it is hard to master. Throughout the career mode, you will see other tennis stars (like Hingis and Sharapova) will stop by for a quick chat before and after the game. No voice over however, just read the text.

well i prefer this.the diving thing is only when you cant get to a shot any other way,if your good enough you generally dont dive.graphics great, its fast paced good easy to pick up and play tennis game. top spin is slower and i find it boring in single player.the advantage it has is the risk shots when you press rt to either make an amazing shot or hit it out or to the net.

plus vt3 has rafa nadal:)

Tbh, Top Spin 2 is the poor excuse. Its graphics are pretty poor for a 360 game, and its people walk like slunched neanderthals. The forhands are incredibly un-humanlike, and the voices of the pros (as well as their appearance) are nothing like real life.

Top Spin 2's graphics are certainly not poor. I personally believe it was a great game, and I got the 1000 gamerscore on it.
