Well basically the story is that im extremely bored of my wii for the fact that all the games i want for it is coming out in a long time. so my plan is. im going to wait till brawl comes out. finish the game and go online on it and stuff for like 2 months or something. sell my wii and get a 360. keep the 360 for around 2-3 years till all the great games on wii comes out. sell my 360 get a wii and enjoy the games. or do you just recommend me keeping my wii? because i dont know. all these great games are on 360 that i really want to play. and on the other hand all these great games on wii that i want to play. and i cant afford both. im only 14 >.< all my friends have 360 and they are convincing me to get it so i can play online with them. please people what should i do?!?!?

Sounds like a decent Idea. I was thinking about doing that myself but unlike you, all my friends have the wii and want me to play online like you w/ the 360

. I'd say go for it... There should be a lot of good games coming out for wii within the next year or so. Just get brawl, enjoy it, and if you like it so much that you don't wanna sell your wii then don't... but if you could live w/o it and wanna play some 360 then get the 360

And don't sell your Wii games, so when you get another Wii you can play them.

In the long run if you sell your Wii and then buy it back again then you're just going to lose a good bit of money!

Not sure about the current Wii state in America, but here in the U.K, that plan is slightly flawed. Selling and re-buying the Wii is a risky task, because so many are purchased and sold at stupid prices (I saw one going for £450!!).
I'd just try to scrounge up the money for a 360 (maybe chores if your only 14), and buy one, whilst keeping my Wii safely in a cupboard somewhere.

the thing is im not 100% sure if im going to buy a wii again. what if i end up being soo hooked on the 360? arghh if only i was rich

why couldnt there just be 1 console with every single game on it and every single control on it. that would make it soo much easier

Ahh right fair enough. You *might* be able to get more money for your Wii on Ebay though because of the high demand.

NO! It's the pswii60. Why buy brawl if your going to keep it for two months? It will last longer than that. Just save lunch money for a year for a 360.

Just keep the wii. Brawl is coming out in like 2 months and believe me, its gonna last you a LONG time. I mean, melee lasted me a good 5-6 years of gameplay. Its all preference. I personally would never sell my wii for a 360/ps3 (I have a wii and 360 currently) because although the 360 is a fun console, the games get real old quickly. I have Halo 3, Call of Duty 4, Gears of War, Bioshock, and Assasin's Creed and between all 5 of them I was bored after 3 weeks (and yes, I have Xbox Live). My wii however, has provided about 2 years of gameplay just between 3 games: Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess, Super Mario Galaxy, and Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition. I'm still not bored of any of those games, and even if I was then I still have Brawl and Mario Kart Wii to look forward too.
My point: The Wii has games that will last you a long time, and even though the Xbox 360 is great and has a great online, it gets boring after playing the same type of game 50 times in a row (shooters). And who cares what you friends say, just get what you want its all personal preference. Mine is the Wii, your's may be different if you like the 360 get that or even better get both if you can, then I guarentee you will never be bored again.
I still, however, think its a bad idea to switch between Wii and 360. First of all, the plan seems flawed because of how risky it is to sell and buy back consoles consistently. Second, what happens if the games you think will be so fun turn out to be dissapointing? Personally (and a lot of other people I know also think this) I think Halo 3 is a complete letdown, its just Halo 2 with better graphics and more content. Third, if really want the best of both worlds, just save up for both. And if you can't do that, then stick with your Wii...Me and my friends are starting to get really bored with the Xbox 360, and microsoft doesn't seem to have any plans for major titles coming soon to get us playing our 360's again. And even if it does (which I will admit, it probably has a few more great games up its sleeve), there isn't enough hype for future 360 games to get a lot more sales and popularity. I havn't come close to being bored with the Wii, however, and they havn't even released their best title yet.
Again, its just my personal preference, I'm not saying for a fact that the 360 won't last you long.

My suggestion is just save up for one. It might take a while, but you'll eventually get the money. And don't ever spend any of the money, unless it's on something really important. Try getting a job, like a paper route or something. It's crappy pay, but that's how I go my Wii.

The moment you acquire a 360 with Live, you'll never want a Wii again nor will you understand the initial reason you bought one.
Sell your Wii and say "*bleep* it", and just get a 360 with Live.
