It took 6 hits to make pieces go flying, so sure, I guess its durable. xD

Doez this really matter? Why would you smash such a delicate piece of hardware?

My Wii already fell 4 times off my dresser and nothing seems wrong with the system itself. In fact the first time it fell I just got it out of the box and I was afraid I ruined it. One of the flaps broke so I went over to my buddies and stole his to replace mine (he doesn't know yet because he hasn't used the Gamecube controlers no does he have any GC games). All in all the system works fine now.

I'm surprised, I thought it would hold up better. Even the PS3 did better, and that thing looks fragile as all hell.

im waiting for x-play to test that. they did it for the xbox,ps2,and gamecube.

ps2 broke in the first test, xbox at the 4th and the gamecube didn't brake out of five tests

The Wii, like all Nintendo products, is extremely durable. You can drop it on concrete a few times and it won`t be damaged. Don`t worry about breaking it.us

The N64 was like that too. You could take a sledge hammer twice to that thing and you'd end up with a scratch. Although the Wii isn't that durable it's still pretty strong for it's size.

Incorrect. The PS2 broke with the 1st test (Dropping it from 8 feet). The Xbox broke with the second test (sledgehammer). The gamecube didn't break after the third test (Dropping a 25 pound weight on it).

Mr. Owl, how many hits with a sledgehammer does it take to get to the center of a Nintendo Wii?

Let's see. One...two...three. *crunch*

BITCH!

WTF why would people want to drop it,or use a sledge hammr on it, or a 25 pound weight for that matter?!

Because maybe want to check its durability and maybe some people are just dumb.
