I've been experiencing problems with my Wii. Everything shows up in Black & White, and I've called Nintendo about it. Does anyone know what to do?

I'm guessing it is your TV, not the Wii. The only time I've experienced consoles playing in black and white was when I used foreign software. I had this one PS2 game that allowed you to select whether you were using a PAL or NTC PS2. I was using a PAL one, but once I accidentally selected NTC and it was all black and white. It could also be a faulty cable.
Where did you get your Wii from

-My T.V. is a Hitachi Wide Screen and I've tried to change to color settings with my television but no use... yet.
I recieved my Wii for Christmas so I'm not sure who the retailer is. We got the television from Dick Smith Electronics a few months ago.
Would you be needing my Serial Numbers?

Where did you get your Wii from
I'm just not sure how to change my settings from NTC to PAL though.
