The Nintendog is supposely an Assist Trophy. Nothing else. But we haven't exactly got an update to confirm it on the website.

The Nintendog seen in the trailer is an assist trophy. It was confirmed in the Assist trophy update.

There better be more than 18 series in SSBB. That is a lot, but I would prefer if there were about 20 to get a wider range of characters.

I just had a thought. Maybe the site will only show 18 symbols. This doesn't mean we'll only get 18 symbols, but that, since people keep stating he doesn't want to show unlockables, we'll only see them as their characters are unlocked in the actual game.

Meh, we basiacally know that Metal Gear will be a symbol. So we only got two spots remaining by theory.
Egglant and Game & Watch still remains in the shadows. Which, could take the 2 other spots.

I see more than 18 happening. Maybe upto 20 but nice to see that the title of this thread fails.

It really bothers me when people assume there are only 18 spots. There is not only no proof of this, its absurd to think. The countdown "we only have 2 more left" is ridiculous.

The reason why people say that is becasue its to fill the DEFAULT 18 since its not too safe to assume we will get more than 18.
