I don't think they should remove any of those characters they were original and not that bad. I think the only characters they should cut are the clones, but not all of them just some, change the movesets of the rest so they aren't clones anyomre though

DK is a Nintendo character. Rare just developed the DK games. The DK games now have a different developer, and the characters that Rare created are now 2nd party to Microsoft (Banjo Kazooie, Joanna Dark, Conker).
