It could be possible Oogity. I forgot all about how when selecting a stage in the original SSB, it showed a symbol. So in the matter of having an Animal Crossing character it would be hard to say. Just throw in the monkey who took care of with the train in the GC AC.

Guess what? What I just said is about as true as the 'fact' that the Ice Climbers and Mr. Game and Watch got taken out.
Whoever started that !@#$ rumor should go to jail. Why it's in the information thread, I have no idea, but it's pissing me off when people new to the forum assume it as truth when they get here.
Don't treat it as any more possible then Luigi or Jigglypuff getting taken out! Because it's not! STOP.

No, you didn't. But you are treating it as probable.
Treating it as probable means you believe it, at least somewhat.
This should not be done, as it increases the rumor. The rumor is FALSE, until proven TRUE.
Do not treat it as any more probable then any other character being taken out. Honestly, one website states an opinion as fact and it becomes an infestation that only the release of Brawl will get rid of...

#19 can be either Pikumin (Pikmin) or Rokkuman (Megaman).
I chose to go with the latter. ;^^
While the unconfirmed icons are just theory, it works perfectly in the pattern. So according to this theory, only series whoms japanese names translated into english that come after "Paru" in the alphabet can be in Brawl. There is also a theory by INTELLIGENTHEALTH that there are alternate sections after icon #18 for third-parties and unlockables, which if true means that one series with the translation that comes after "Made" can be in Brawl, but only one. Of course, there is no confirmation for this theory, but it is the most logical one out there.

That theory has a large hole... They had to make gaps in the list to make the theory fit. That kind of debunks the theory.

Or were those gaps already there the way they were originally found.... No. Those gaps are there because someone put them there. This theory works, but only by forcing it to work.
That's like taking a round block and shoving it through a square hole and then saying it fits.

How many characters do you think there will be in SSBB. I think from about 20-30. That might be completely wrong though. We know at least 12 characters are there.

So they put those gaps in. The spaces. Those spaces treat every chunk of text as it's own alphabetical order.
In other words, the theory works.... Up to number 11. After number 11, they force it to work.

@ Glotnot: The Japanese language made me confuse. So your saying after the top 11 series are the name, the theory works because there force too (after the top 11)?

Yes. The theory works for the first 11 titles. After the eleventh title, they force it to work.
Not to mention tht the top eleven titles are speculation anyway.
Ness hasn't been confirmed, so number 7 is speculation anyway.
But Conker, it works like this. They take the titles of the games and translate them into the Japanese version. The theory is that it's in alphabetical order.
However. Number eleven is Yoshi (Yosshī ). Number 12 is the Ice Climbers (Aisu Kuraimā ). Number 12, 13, and 14 are purely speculatory... but Number 15 isn't Number 15 is Animal Crossing (Dōbutsu no Mori).
Confirmed we have Number 11, Yosshī. Now, even though the next three are unconfrimed, Number 15 IS confirmed, and D does NOT come after Y. Therefore, this theory is false. They forced it to work.
The gaps in the list are individual pieces of alphabetical order.
D through Y, A through G, and then D through S. It doesn't work.
