Subject: Liberty Drivers Are Very Impatient.

Everytime i want to drive carefully and stop at traffic lights the cars behind act like I've parked up and get passed me and most of the time hitting me in the process.
Why is this and can i get rid of it?

Yeah, it's always like that. I used to try it in San Andreas and they used to crash into the back of me whenever I stopped at the lights.

never been crashed into for that...but yea, they always honk and cuss haha. i've always wondered that too considering the fact that if i wasn't there, they'd stop anyways. oh well...just funny.

I hate the lane changes, but apart from that i think the AI in the cars is pretty damn fine.

I've only been rear ended a couple of times at lights.
First guy was lucky because I was on a date with Michelle.
All of the rest weren't because I just love stepping out calmly and putting a bullet in their brain with my Combat Pistol.

It can be annoying but it's just there because R* didn't expect you to abide by the road rules, especially traffic lights. So they never made the AI compensate in a realistic manner I would guess.

Also how can you call them impatient when if you stop in the middle of the road in front of them they won't run you over.

I made a perfect triple roll off a tall building using a sublevel and a shed. Landed on the road without a sliver of damage.
And promptly was plowed into by some twit in a Cavalcade and dragged under their vehicle. insta death.

Free roamers never expect you to abide by the rules. Sometimes we want to!
Driver 2 had the same problem (as did Driver 1 I'm sure). You'd stop at a red light and everyone would honk, but if they do it it's fine.
Of course, in that game if you crossed a red light you'd get cops on you, so you're supposed to wait, but the other cars still honk at you.

Don't any of you guys drive in real life? Drivers are impatient as $&*# in real life so it makes GTA 4 quite realistic really!
