I think there's a thread like this in the General RE forum but that's kinda dead so anyway....every now and then name 2 contestants (characters/enemies) from RE, but specify, for example if i said Nemesis, i should say whether he has his RL or not, or which form he is in.

So first up:

Hunter easily lickers strangle using there tounges and hunters dont have necks so it would be pretty hard for it to use its main form of attack plus hunters are much more agile and alot tougher

I would say Wesker if I remember correctly. I think I killed Saddler in one blast with a Rocket Launcher. Can't do that so easily with Wesker!

My memory might be wrong though. I just know I messed Saddler up pretty quickly

yea u can kill wesker also with 1 rocket directly at his orb even at the beginning by passing the whole fight. kinda cheap imo

btw wesker would win

Hmm, I just grabbed him and had my partner slash his chest orb continuously until he died. Such an easy fight if you know your stuff. Never tried shooting him with rockets!

Just to be clear: I as thinking of a close range, tentacle to tentacle, real time fight. Rocket launchers arn't involved because neither has access to them.

Would be interesting.

Saddler was a weak boss, and had few attacks that did not rely on the surroundings. He often chucked steel beams at you.

Would depend if Saddler was hit in one of his eyes. You can't stun him anyway else except by using grenades, which Wesker clearly does not have.

I'm giving this to Saddler though, unless Wesker used his Whirlwind.

Ok lets look at the stats and how I think the fight will go down. Also NOTE: 1 hit kill attacks on humans apply as high damage and possible stun attacks in this fight.

I think that's about right ^^^^^

But then don't forget, wesker still wasn't dead after that, it took 2 RL to 'supposedly' kill him, yet no RL is needed for saddler. I think wesker has more endurance.

I think a licker would rape a hunter though, the hunter's leaping attack (it's most fatal) won't work, since the licker is on the floor. Hunter can only slash downwards, whereas licker can impale, slash, jump etc.

If memory serves, a licker could most likely out maneveur the Hunter. Purely if nothing else by getting up on the cielings and stuff and lashing its tongue out to do damage. I forget how they moved in RE2 specifically but if we factor similar to how they do in RE5, they can also recover and bounce fast. But then, I'm biased.


As for Wesker versus Saddler. Saddler is a frickin pansy Wesker ftw!

• better speed
• better jumping ability
• very powerful and rather fast attacks
• likely immune to Wesker's "uroboros projectile" ability due to is plaga-based roots.
• weaponized underside
• more overall balance (likely due to having 8 legs)

Cons

• Can be stunned if enough force is applied at one time.
• Lacks a long range weapon if no debris or stuff is present is present.
• more and more exposed weakspots

• higher damage
• More force in attacks
• longer reaching attacks
• fewer and more "shielded" weak points

Cons

• slower walking speed
• worse jumping ability
• less overall balance (likely due have 2 legs)
• most powerful attack also stuns him for a small amount of time.

They both see each other, Wesker fires off an uroboros projectile only to see it has no effect, then Saddler's tentacles and rip the parasites off, Saddler
grabs a nearby rock and flings it at Wesker, he sustains a direct hit and minor damage, Saddler runs towards Wesker and into melee range, Wesker then uses a whirlwind and knocks Saddler back about 40 feet and stuns him, Saddler is on the ground for a few seconds before beginning to stand back up, Wesker then rapidly extends his arm and right before it reaches Saddler, Saddler jumps high in the air, lands on Wesker, and impales both of Wesker's weak points with the blade plaga on his underside just before Knocking Wesker over, with his last bit of strength, Wesker impales Saddler's right leg weak point witch causes Saddler to back off to recover, with both on their last limbs, Wesker stands up, Saddler jumps again, Wesker then does a whirlwind only to realise Saddler Aimed for Behind Wesker, Saddler lands behind Wesker (still doing his whirlwind) and Saddler lifts one of his front legs, And the second Wesker is done, (and needs a small amount of time to recover which explains his earlier attack delay when using the whirlwind attack) Saddler impales him through both his weakspots at once, dealing a finishing blow.

Umm...not to burst your bubble but Wesker has a WAY better jumping ability then Saddler will ever have.

And he still didn't die after being stabbed almost 20 times by sheva, he needed 2 rocket launchers to the head to finally finish him off.


And a volcano.

And an overdose of his own virus, which made him weaker in the first place.

Seriously Saddler is so screwed.
And wouldn't Saddler have less balance since it would be easy to topple him?

Just trip on of the legs and they all go down.

Ok lets put this perspective if a 8-12 foot in diameter spider jumped on your face, with the apex of its leap being 10 feet above, would you fall down?

And due to the slowness of Wesker's attacks, Saddler could dodge an arm swipe with a jump.

And finally some more info
1. Only 1 rocket hit Wesker in the head
2. Sheva didn't stab him "almost 20 times", she slashed him a dozen times then stabbed him once
3. This is not a contest of who survived what, one has to consider what options both fighters have.
4. Tell me Ded Valve, how do you think the fight will go.

Wesker grunts when using his arm to "spring-load" his way to the cliffside, indicating that he used a larger percentage of his own phyical ability to "jump", Saddler jumped using far less effort to reach a distance about the same length, but only about 30-40 feet less height, indicating that Saddler has an atleast slightly better max jumping ability.
