Hey could someone please answer this question:
When playing this game do you have to use the wii mote and the nunchuk or can you just hold the wii mote on its side like when playing tony hawks because it would makes sense if you could use it like that

Yes, you can. The game offers numerous control schemes- one of which being the Wiimote on its side. Heh...
