- You unlock it once you've advanced through err i forgot the location but i remember your opponents are machine like large tanks and helicopters. Once you cleared that you can gain access to machine race. If your haven't found it yet i could look into it.

This is a late reply, but you can get this after getting the Peace item in the ninja village fighting the boss fight solo with the hero.
Hope this helps, even though it is way past June 6th :/
