Sounds like The Sims meets Harvest Moon. Isn't there a farming simulation game with cows and horses? There was one with sheep once.
How about Grand Theft Auto Sims? You try to steal a car before you need to eat, have to go to the toilet, or pass out from exhaustion.

On to the point of the thread, Sims 2 Barnyard might be very complex if it was to simulate a farm with animals, too much so I think or it would be so dumbed down that it wouldn't have enough realism to the game. They would have to have nake it be several games instead of just one in order to make it work I think.
I grew up in Kansas and I know a bit about farms.
I expect that soon the new Sims games will only run on a PS3 or an XBox 360 and if so I want to be able to download new content and have some way of installing it on a console. Making the Sims games on the console be less limited is what I would like.
Something that they could do on the PS2 would be Sims 2 University for PS2, but make sure to include the game play that Sims 2 has and have Woohoo, etc.
No babies though, please.

I think it would be a good idea if it was something like Sims 2 Pets where you could choose to create a family of two or choose to play one of several that already existed.
You would be on a cruise ship and there would be parties and such. Oh and make it an Adults only cruise ship.
There doesn't need to be a story line, but I asm sure that the designers could come up with one.

My ideal Sims Game would Be 2 Have Adults, Kids, and pets why can't you get kids on sims 2 pets that is what ruins it also you can't play 2 player so my sister and i argue over who is gonna play sims 2 pets first

sxc Lil pony I think your idea about Sims 2 Barn Yard is great! I'd buy it!
only if it was on ps2 though because my stupid computer hasn't got enough memory for anything! I can't even have zoo tycoon anymore! My idea:
Sims 3: (It's some things I would put on a normal Sim game)
-No death!
-Woohoo (babies only if you Say you want them to your spouse
)-You can design houses AND design buildings at the town e.g hospitals/shops/churches etc
-On the create a family section if you can't be bothered to make them have kids the 'natural' way you can create them and relate them to other Sims e.g cousins, brothers, aunts etc..

I like all your ideas except the church one. I don't think churches would work in a Sims game. Just my opinion.

and you do not have a write to say wether god is real or not thats not your place to say.
if thats your opinion then fine but dont go around saying god isnt real and so forth if you read the rules for this site you would see that it says to keep all posts on topic and going around saying god isnt real has nothing to do with an idea for a sims game.
And if your going to have a go at me for saying this then you would be a hypocrite because this is my opinion
