Subject: unable to get to bomb on oil rig

I'm on the oil rig and the door is shut where the bomb is ,it was open until i was killed.Then when i reloaded the last save point the door is shut Any ideas how to get it open from this point with out restarting the level.

You just need to restart the level im afraid! just one of them bugs......
