i am posting this as i found this here as the cheat thing is messing up for me and i would also like to explain that i found this glitch when i was a child, i have searched the net and no one knows this glitch and im surprised
in other words give me credit

here it is SPINNING MAN GLTICH OF ROT
(i have used a part of another gltich as it is the same start)
Go to the Safari Zone in Fuschia City and you'll get stopped. Pay to go in.DO NOT take a step and exit the Safari, you'll then be asked if you're leaving early, say no, and go back in, once again, DONT WALK ANYWHERE. Now, save your game, turn the game off and then back on. Go back out of the Safari Zone and the guy will greet you as if you just walked from the other way "Welcome, etc." He once again asks if you wanna go into the Safari, this time say NO. Get out of the building and fly to (this is were the glitch changes, here you have 2 choices, you can either fly to the first rocket base or the last gym either doesnt matter). Like the glitch town glitch the safri timer still exists, with this in theory and mind if you are still spinning while the ding dong goes of you should be still spinning afterwards as it counts as step, so this is the reason for being in the to areas i said (warp gym doesnt work). If done correctly, when the time finnished you were still spinning, after this magicly you will appear back at the sarfi zone, strangely though you do not end up in glitch town. By this time if you have not noticed you should be spinning like before, also is the fact that when on a bike you spin also, a paradox as you would never be able to get a box on a spin place in normal playing.
this works in red and blue
and im sure it works in yellow
to get rid of spin simple go on the pads that stopped you spinning normally

Why does it matter though? It's a time consuming and pointless glitch? Claiming credit for this is just saying that you have wayyy too much time on your hands.
