Im going to point out that the Deathknight Quest will require you to have a Character thats 60+ to begin, as far as i remember.
*80, Level 80, not 60. You have to be established at 80 and do some manner of elaborate quest chain to unlock being able to make a new deathknight (it is not class or race specific, so every class and race can unlock one) at some higher level (the actual level hasn't been mentioned, as they probably have very little nailed down for details).

Wow i just saw inscription video and saw how the weapon looks after u um inscripe it..
You don't inscribe weapons, you inscribe abilities. You might have been looking at enchanting, not inscription, which appears to have very little information about it.
the videi i saw showed a Inscriptor makeing a rune called runestone of faith. According the vid it says enchanters r the only ones that can apply a rune and it makes your weapon glow. Here is the link to the vid http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-6492850554403259912&q=Wrath+of+the+Lich+King+Inscription+site%3Avideo.google.com&total=1&start=0&num=10&so=0&type=search&plindex=0
I don't want to say that video is a complete lie, but that video is a complete lie. He showed the warrior and paladin t5 sets as "all new gear", and the runestones looked photoshopped. Not to mention wotlk isn't accessible to anyone yet, so I don't see how someone could make a video of something that doesn't exist =/

That is Completely fake sorry... all of those items were made at wowitemcreator.com... and none of that gear is new or even remotely new. Also those enchants you saw on the weapons were just shaman buffs with buggy textures. Inscriptions will be added to spells not weapons.

There's a problem with that theory. If enchanters get the spotlight form inscription, what is the job for?

Perhaps making the inscriptions where an Enchanter would apply them? just a thought.

I think I'm just going to take up Enchantment and Inscription to maximize the skills better.

I think Enchanting and Inscription would be a good combination since most players make a enchanter a mage or warlock. Be good not only to enchant yourself to also make your spells stronger.

For those that didn't know. Deathknights will be obtainable by people with a LEVEL 55 character on their accounts.

quote
Simply have a character of at least level 55 on the World of Warcraft account you play, and you will be able to create a new level-55 death knight of any race..
Source you ask??

Alpha suggests that it's in-house testing; does your buddy work at Blizzard?

It is called Friends and Family, and open to friends and family members of Blizzard employees. My co-worker's wife did the motions for the blood elf chick in the trailer for BC, and he is really good friends with one of the execs at Blizzard out here in Irvine.

He got Beta testing for BC as well as played a bit on the Alpha testing.

I don't suppose you'd be willing to carry what information you hear along to us/me discretely? >__> Obviously we don't want Blizzard jumping at anyone for breaking NDAs or whatever.

We know what the environments look like and how the death knight works, blah blah. Inscription has next to no news on it though.
