I'd probably go with Ralph if we can include all of them.
But If it were just the older ones id say Fio.

If i play other than MS6, i play as marco, they are NOT different, no individual abilities.
When i play MS6, i always play as Eri, her grenade throwing skill and extra grenade are very useful. or Fio, she always has extra ammo for any weapon she picked up. But in final mission, i use clark to backbreak those black aliens, they will not turn into worms.
