Was anyone else pissed off by this? About half of the levels you go through can only be finished by using ranged weapons (pistols, shotguns, etc). I've fired off more rounds in the Assassination level than I fired during the entirety of Manhunt 1. Hundreds upon hundreds of bullets. Wasn't the point of Manhunt in the first place to be original by sneaking around in the dark, evicerating baddies with razor wire and the like?

Guns? Where?

I've never seen or used guns in this game.

Perhaps guns are introduced later on the game. What level are you on now?

What game are you playing? I'm at the Safehouse and I've already been in a gun battle.

In the safehouse the cleaners were holding a crowbar and not a gun.

Maybe it depends on the difficulty, I used sane not insane.

No way man, I play on sane too. Simply because they take away the radar in the lower left and you aren't able to move the camera around worth a shit to see where the enemies actually are.

But that's beside the point.

**SPOILER**

I'm at the point where Danny finds out how his friend died (I already forget his name, I think it's Michael? I'm not sure. Too early in the morning to remember). The level where you go back 6 years in time, avoid the helicopter shooting at you and take out all those army-like guys in a big shootout. Then you come back to the safehouse where Danny changes his cloths.

I'm still at his old house, where he looks for some of his stuff. The cleaners there only have crowbars.

That's pretty much how I felt about the game. Once you get the guns it loses what's special about Manhunt and becomes an okay third person shooter. The guns are so ridiculously over-powered and the enemy AI so poor that there's not much challenge... a real shame because the game starts out so promisingly.

I would have to disagree with you there Sereph, I found the stealth aspect evened (Word?) out with gun fights and that, the game also features gun executions, which encourages the curious and violent players alike to use stealth even with a gun. Some parts of the game also put in an overwhelming amount of gun weilding enemies that calls for either a really good gunner, or a good Manhunt player. I thought this game was great, just as good, if not better that the first. Maybe that is just because in both I was so much better with guns than with stealth. Manhunt 2 introduced many bright new ideas that allow the player to be a bit more creative with his/her executions, such as pouring gasoline to create a death trap, sure it is odd that the character (whether it be Danny or Leo) carries around matched all the time, but it was thoughtful.

One thing I loved about this game was the *bleep*ed yet challenging hunters. Not quite as stupid as the AI in Farcry Vengeance (Hopefully not even Pac Man will ever have AI that stupid) but just stupid enough to give you and your friends a "Laugh Your Ass Off" moment that will keep you telling your friends about it for a good month.

I have so many good things to say about this game that if I posted them on Neo, it would take up a whole page. In short, I found the game creative, new, entertaining and 100% *bleep*ing hillarious!

Good job Rockstar!

Yeah, I havn't completed the game yet as I just got it, but I'm on "Ritual Cleansing" which has been the first truly good level since "Safe House", considering I have yet to touch a gun in this one. Once you get to the first flashback level the game seems to simply devolve into a half assed shooter. I'm hoping there are more stealth points as I get into the next levels. The game as of now is a good bit below what I had expected. I hope it proves me wrong.

Ok, so the usage of guns does go over the top, so forget what I said about this game being better than the first. I really didn't mind the large amounts of gun battles, but a few things I didn't really like...

*Guns are way too powerful, an SMG explodes their head? C'mon.
*You get way too much ammo, in Manhunt (1 that is), you may at a point end up with a large ammo supply for pistols, but would usually have to use power weapons (Shotguns and the like) sparingly.

Well, on a scale of 1 to ten I would give this game an 8.75. The game is definitely worth a buy at 30 USD, but...
With the Wii version being censored 2X as much, I will have to wait until march for AR for wii to buy it.
